Kintaro bodysuit wip

Got a bit more done on this last week. Still have a massive amount to do but we are slowly approaching the finish line.

Phoenix

A bit quite on the work front this week, so i thought I would post this. It's %100 percent drawn on (no stencil) I'm trying as much as possible to take my work in this direction as I like the feel of tattoos done in this way.

Finished this tattoo of Kiyohime a while ago, but this is the first opportunity I have had to get some photos of it healed.

This is a detail of a 3/4 sleeve I have been working on for the last few months, the finished piece will be full colour.
I really like the concept behind the tattoo, the contrast between natural elements and man made ones underpins the whole design and has suggested many of the choices we made whilst working on the layout.

New beginnings

After having a website for many years that rarely (if ever) gets updated. I decided it was time to finally start a blog.
My intention is to update it with daily shots (at least on days I work) of tattoo's and if I photograph anything of interest it will find it's way on here.

So to start things off, this is a bodysuit that I have been working on for sometime. It's an honour to be asked to do such a massive piece of work and it has given me the chance to learn a great deal.
